The Unseen speaks to what the bias of artificial intelligence’s dataset conceals. When this bias only generates consensual and normative discourses of beauty, thus creating more bias, it becomes necessary to break this dynamic through the prompt and illuminate what would otherwise never be seen: “non-beauty,” “non-standard perfection,” and position it, from the unbiased formal visual language, as a new dataset that, like a glitch, disrupts the dynamics of what is seen. Through portraiture, all human dignity is granted simply by virtue of being, and this same dignity justifies, whatever the characteristics of the subject, making them visible through common language, equating any circumstance or condition as suitable for the formal language of beauty.
