Become Part of Collaborative Excellence in AI Creation
The AIMA Tag Team Award introduces a new benchmark for collaborative AI-generated art.
This category is dedicated to works created by two artists working together as a creative unit, sharing authorship, responsibility, and vision.
Being selected for the AIMA Tag Team Award is more than recognition. It highlights your creative perspective, your ability to shape ideas collectively, and to create outcomes that would not exist without creative exchange.
Each quarter, outstanding collaborative works are selected and honored as part of the AIMA Tag Team Award.
Submission Requirements
One Artwork per Submission: Each submission represents one collaborative artwork created by two artists.
If you wish to submit multiple artworks, each artwork must be submitted separately.- Two Artists per Submission: Exactly two artists must be listed per submission. Both artists must have actively contributed to the creative process. Solo submissions are not eligible for this category
AI-Generated Artwork Only: We only accept artwork created using AI tools Submissions must consist of AI-generated artwork. Any AI-based tools or workflows may be used.
High Resolution: The image(s) you submit must be high resolution to ensure they look great when displayed.
File Format: JPEG or PNG is preferred.
Creative Roles & Collaboration: Each submission must describe the creative roles of both artists, how the collaboration developed, and how their mutual influence shaped the final outcome. This information is essential for evaluation and storytelling.
Creative Process: Optional – Share your behind-the-scenes images or a brief description of how your artwork was created.
Share your social media links to increase your visibility if selected.
Submission Fee: $34 per artwork. This fee covers the review and evaluation process by our jury. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable, even if your submission is not selected.
What Happens After You Submit
Once your submission and payment are confirmed, your collaborative artwork enters the official AIMA Tag Team review cycle. Submissions are evaluated by the jury using a dedicated framework that focuses on creative synergy, role clarity, conceptual depth, and the strength of the final outcome as a shared creation.
If your work is selected as an Official Selection, it becomes part of a curated group representing the current standard of collaborative AI creation. The artwork and both artists will be showcased on the AIMA website and shared across AIMA channels. Each Official Selection receives an official AIMA Tag Team digital laurel as a mark of recognition.
Submissions that stand out at the highest level will be named Winners of the AIMA Tag Team Award. The winning team is honored with two physical AIMA Tag Team Awards, one for each artist, shipped individually, and a featured presentation as part of the official AIMA Winner Archive. Second and third place teams receive official AIMA Tag Team laurels for both artists.
This is not just exposure. It is recognition of collaborative creativity at the highest level.
