Short Description
RE(IFICATION) is a portrait series exploring how professional identity gradually replaces personal identity. By reconstructing each face from the tools, materials, and systems of a specific occupation, the work questions what remains of the individual when human worth is reduced to function.
Process
The series began with a simple question: what remains of a person when professional identity becomes their primary form of recognition? Each portrait replaces recognizable facial features with the tools, materials, and systems of a specific profession, inviting viewers to question how labor and social expectations gradually reshape personal identity.
