Portrait of a young woman
Portrait of a young woman with five cats
Short Description
This piece explores the coexistence of two contrasting inner states: a childlike perception of the world — naive, playful, and intuitive — and a more distant and analytical adult consciousness.
The central figure embodies awareness and observation, while the surrounding cats represent fragments of a softer, instinctive, and vulnerable inner world.
Their simplified, almost primitive forms contrast with the more refined and introspective portrait, creating a visual dialogue between emotion and awareness.
The work is also inspired by a real-life connection with rescued animals. The figure becomes a source of stability and protection, while the cats embody fragility and dependence.
Together, they form a unified yet tension-filled space, where naivety and awareness coexist.
Prompt Logic
The image was developed through iterative refinement, focusing on balancing expressive character design with a more introspective portrait. The process involved adjusting composition, scale, and emotional contrast between stylized and more realistic elements.

Process
This work is part of an ongoing exploration of my inner world, shaped by the coexistence of a childlike, intuitive perception and a more analytical adult perspective.
It is also deeply connected to my experience of caring for rescued animals, which influenced the emotional structure of the piece.
The contrast between protection and vulnerability, together with the coexistence of childlike and adult perception, became a central element of the composition and influenced its visual language.
