Short Description
INPOWDERED is a digital fashion still from the collection Oh! Miroir, developed within the artistic universe C-Elia : Unchained.
C-Elia : Unchained is an artistic avatar through which the work is embodied. An alter-ego born after crossing the mirror, C-Elia represents a hybrid, half-human, half-virtual presence that becomes the creative force itself. By shifting the artist into the background, the avatar allows the work to exist autonomously.
The INPOWDERED line is inspired by air, suspension, and the ephemeral explosion of colors of the Holi festival in India. Powder floats, disperses and transforms the silhouette, evoking both celebration and impermanence. The body appears caught in a breath, between emergence and dissolution.
Artificial intelligence is used as a catalyst to extend intuition and explore forms beyond physical constraints. Digital fashion here becomes a space of transformation, where identity, matter and authorship remain fluid and in motion.
Prompt Logic
The project was developed through a structured prompt logic rather than a single fixed prompt, allowing the silhouette to evolve conceptually rather than descriptively.
The process begins with the definition of an artistic identity, embodied by the avatar C-Elia : Unchained, conceived as a hybrid, half-human, half-virtual presence. This identity acts as the core anchor of the generation.
The silhouette is then constructed from the top down, focusing on:
Head: light, diffusion, and chromatic vibration, inspired by airborne pigments and the sensory experience of the Holi festival, emphasizing suspension and impermanence rather than physical ornament.
Body: transformation through air and powder, with volumes suggested by dispersion, impact, and movement rather than solid matter, creating a floating, evolving structure.
Overall presence: a fashion form that exists between emergence and dissolution, reflecting the idea that digital fashion is not fixed but continuously mutable.
Artificial intelligence is used as a catalyst to translate intuition, rhythm, and transformation into form. The prompt logic prioritizes atmosphere, motion, and conceptual coherence over literal realism, allowing the final image to emerge as a poetic interpretation rather than a static garment.
Process
The piece was inspired by the freedom offered by digital fashion to create garments that cannot exist in the physical world. INPOWDERED explores the idea of making non-textile, immaterial substances wearable, transforming air, powder, and dispersion into a sculptural silhouette that still reads as fashion.
The work evolved from the question of how far a garment can move away from fabric while remaining legible as a wearable form. Through iteration, the silhouette gradually balanced abstraction and structure, allowing an impossible material to behave like clothing without imitating it.
One of the main challenges was maintaining this sense of wearability while working with elements that naturally resist form and gravity. AI made it possible to push these limits, enabling the creation of volumes, textures, and transitions that could not be produced through traditional design or physical construction.
