Irworobongdo is a traditional Korean painting depicting the sun, moon, and five peaks, symbolizing the eternity of royal authority and the prosperity of the nation. This work reimagines its symbolic landscape and royal grandeur through a contemporary fashion language, incorporating its visual motifs into the headpiece, dress silhouette, and intricate details.
First, the key visual elements of Irworobongdo—the sun, moon, five peaks, waves, and pine trees—were analyzed and translated into the headpiece, dress silhouette, structure, and decorative details. Based on the generated dress image, the model’s pose and camera perspective were then refined. In the final stage, a red-carpet setting and surrounding photographers were added, while an extremely low-angle composition and intense flash effects were used to make the figure and dress appear more symbolic and dramatic.
