Founder of BIA Creatives
Bruktawit Furlan
Bruktawit Furlan is a curator and the founder of BIA Creatives, an independent platform and magazine based in Venice, Italy, dedicated to contemporary visual culture, fashion, emerging artists and artificial intelligence.
Her work is rooted in curatorial research and the creation of spaces for dialogue between artists, creatives and new technologies. Through BIA, she develops editorial projects, exhibitions and collaborations that connect emerging voices across disciplines and geographies, with a particular interest in the changing ways images are produced, circulated and understood today.
Her practice explores the cultural implications of artificial intelligence within contemporary creativity, asking how new technologies can participate in artistic processes without replacing the human perspective behind them. She is particularly interested in the intersection of fashion, image-making and technology, and in how fashion can become a space for experimentation, where new visual languages and creative perspectives can emerge.
Working across creative communities and disciplines, Bruktawit brings together emerging artists and practitioners, fostering exchange and collaboration across different fields. Through her work, she aims to create connections between artistic practices, cultural contexts and new technologies, exploring how these intersections can contribute to new forms of contemporary creativity.
