The costume echoes the natural circular and linear markings of the whale shark. Translating these elements into fashion results in an organic design language that’s both evocative and contemporary, capturing the rhythm and flow of marine life.
Fashion design made from whale shark patterns, whale shark protector, save the oceans, silver and blue, ethereal, avant-garde, hyper detailed, hyper realism, light reflections, Canon EOS R5 –c 23 –w 2 –ar 3:4 –v 7
This work draws inspiration from World Oceans Day. I aimed to raise awareness about an endangered species and honour biodiversity through wearable art. This evolved into eco-conscious thinking, a declaration of coexistence, conservation, and creativity.
Designs like this can:
Promote awareness of endangered species.
Celebrate biodiversity through wearable art.
Encourage eco-conscious thinking in design and material sourcing.
